Meet the Staff
Rays of Light was born in June of 2006 in response to a dismal Cubs season. Founder, Joe Aiello felt he needed an AL team to follow as an oasis and the Rays were the answer to that need. Since that time, Rays of Light has grown into one of the top Rays fan sites on the internet. We strive to maintain a fan friendly community to discuss the Rays and patiently wait for that year we win it all. In order to do that, we need you to be an active contributor to the site using the comments and eventually the diary system. Just be sure to follow the 10 commandments of the site:
I. Thou Shall Not Use Profanity
II. Thou Shall Not personally attack other commenters
III. Thou Shall Not bait other commenters
IV. Thou Shall Not argue for the sake of arguing
V. Thou Shall Not discuss politics
VI. Thou Shall Not use hyperbole when something less will suffice
VII. Thou Shall Not use sarcasm in a way that can be misinterpreted negatively
VIII. Thou Shall Not make the same point over and over again
IX. Thou Shall Not type “no-hitter” to describe any no-hitter in progress
X. Thou Shall Not be annoyed by the existence of this list

Joe Aiello - The founder of the site, and perhaps the most optimistic of the writers. If there is a positive spin on the Rays, it will probably come out in his posts. He runs all marketing and advertising issues.
Scott Caruso - Scott joined up with the site during spring training of 2007 after piloting his own blog on MLB Blogs called The New Hit Show. He is main contributor and runs the day to day operations.
Justin Wolfson - Joining the staff in August of 2006, Justin brings a west coast flair to the mix and provides insight into a lot of the AL West teams. He also specializes in multimedia production.
Jon Wolfson - Jon signed on in July of 2006 and is the resident editor of the site. He is the primary game recap writer.
Jason Floyd - Jason joined the staff during Spring Training 2007 after spending the last 3 years as a radio talk show co-host.
Jon Ziegler - JZ is the resident minor league expert and focuses the majority of his efforts on the farm system each day in the minor league wrap. He has been known to lend his thoughts on the parent club every so often, though.
