The Rays knew they couldn’t be down 0 – 2 heading to Fenway. I didn’t get to hear the game until the last part. It turns out that that was the BEST part. The Best sign was when the game was 2 -2. The Rays got to Beckett and the BoSox got to Kazmir. Both bullpens served up the RBIs! But when it counted, tied at 8, the bullpen kept the BoSox in check. And then at 136am EST, Fernando Perez scored on BJ Upton’s Sac Fly. That’s two games in the postseason that Upton has helped the team to win. Just when you think you know the Rays, they suprise you again and win with a slugfest against a Boston team that has done that all year. I know I’ll be tired today but it was worth it listening to Rays history. It must also be a sign that the final score was 9 to 8 Rays with the Maddon philosophy of 9=8. This ALCS isn’t going to be over in 4. If the Rays can take one of the games in Boston, then come back all tied up at 2, they can win the series at the Trop. We still have a lot of baseball left! Richard was right, the Rays have been comeback kids all year long!
GO RAYS! Series tied at 1 all!

To win a slugfest with the Sux has to put some more confidence in this team. God doesn’t having speed kind of balance out the fact that the other team may have more power. The only people that could have scored on BJ’s short fly to right was Perez or CC. And could you believe Foley sent him. By the way can any one tell me did Ferg’s serve breakfast? Go Rays

Maddon is tailoring the 25 man roster well for the different stages of the playoffs. The need for more pitching in this stage was demonstrated last night. Sorry, Hinske, but it was the right decision. Go Rays….hope they tame the sux in Boston.

Rays need one out of two now and comeback home Friday and end the Sux’s suffering. I sure hope people still aren’t doubting the rezilancy of this team, come back then go on a streak. I can’t remeber who the Rocco doubter was but I hope you saw the home run.
