Garza was great again last night. Big pitches when he needed them. Great stuff and tremendous focus. He really seems to have turned the corner since the fight and can be counted on to be at least respectable, and probably a lot better every night. A great sign for this team.

Evan Almighty. Still learning, but who would you rather see up when it has to get done? A great player rises to the occasion. In baseball you can't do it all the time but he seems to do it when they really need it more often than not. It is going to fun to watch him over the years.

Al Reyes has not been effective since the middle of last year. In fact I think Shawn Camp has taken possession of his body. I appreciate what he did last year but they have to deal with today. Reyes, Gomes and Glover are just taking up space on the bench and hurting the team when they play.

Thanks, Joe for finally getting BJ out of the 3 spot. He'll do much less harm at the bottom of the order. Maybe the decreased pressure will help him snap out of it.

This is grinding my guts, but isn't it great?
