Kaz and the All-Star Game

I haven’t seen this anywhere, so I was wondering if anyone knew - is Scotty Kazmir going to be available for the All-Star Game? He pitches today, which puts him on the Sunday first-half finale. Would the Rays allow him to go even an inning after a day of rest? I wouldn’t think so, right? Anyone seen a story on this?

   Yes Kazmir will be available to play at the All-Star game, but its doubtful he will see any action at all.

   Kaz has not pitched like an All Star. He wastes too many pitches, seems to think that going 5-6 innings is fine, etc. Should have taken Sonny or JP Howell.

   Yep, Kaz has 97 pitches after only five innings.

   Kaz said he will be available because he normally pitches on the side anyway
