4/27/08: Al Reyes on the road back for better or worse

Like it or not, all signs point to Al Reyes returning to the Rays this week. He is eligible to come off the 15-day disabled list this Thursday, and he should join up with the Rays in Baltimore. Reyes started last night’s game in Vero Beach and threw a perfect inning with two strikeouts. The obvious roster move will be to option Kurt Birkins to Durham to make room for Reyes.
