A team spokesman said a preliminary diagnosis showed a triceps contusion and that the outfielder returned to the team’s training camp in St. Petersburg to be examined by Dr. Koco Eaton, the Rays’ orthopedic physician.
Doesn’t sound too bad. Also, how nice is all this Rays’ coverage? It used to be that the team plane would have to crash into Peter Gammons in order to get a look.
