A couple of weeks ago, I – along with a slew of other Rays bloggers – filled out a Top 30 prospects list for the guys over at RaysBB as well as answering a brief survey about some prospect-related questions. The first of the questions, as well as some of the guys who didn’t quite make the cut for the consensus Top 30 list, have been posted over there. Keep checking back over the course of the coming days, as they will be updating the list and the question responses.
As for my response to the initial question about which Top 15 prospect was most likely to fall off next year:
Fernando Perez. Last season was the exception rather than the rule for his career. I wouldn’t be shocked if his OPS dropped back into the .700s again and people stopped talking about him.
