Cubs’ Pen: Good, yes, but not lights out, right?

Lining up the Cubs 2017 bullpen isn’t as easy as Tinkers to Evers to Chance. No matter how strong Lester, Hendricks, Arrieta, Lackey and Montgomery could be, if the bullpen unravels, it will making winning a second World Series that much more difficult and put more prospects up for bait at the trade deadline if change needs to happen for a postseason run. Let’s make a call to the pen to see who’s getting loose.

Staying healthy has always been the key to Brett Anderson’s career. When healthy, he could be a top of the rotation type of pitcher. But unfortunately he has never had that opportunity. What does this signing mean to the Cubs? Big time opportunities for both Anderson and the Cubs.
