Two Truths and A Lie

I don’t know if you guys will enjoy this or not. If you do, please feel free to send me your submissions and we can use them this off-season when we’re struggling for content. The goal is to figure out which of the statements is the lie out of the three about me. Put your guesses in the comment section.

Statement # 1 - I’ve seen Matt Murton naked
Statement # 2 – I’ve spent time in jail
Statement # 3 – I hold the career record for doubles for my high school’s baseball program

Oh how I love this!!! What a fantastic idea to get us through the off-season doldrums. Or, in this case, the in-season doldrums!!! I’m picking 3 as the lie. As Chet said, naked Matt is too odd to be a lie. (I love me some Matt Murton, if only he’d come back to the US he might be my next Geo.) and number two is all in the wording. So, count me in with Jedi for 3.

# 2 – seeing Matt Murton naked is ridiculous enough to be true. Spending time in jail could happen to anyone but I am goIng to bet you have kept your nose clean and say that is the lie. I would of expected you to mention that you played baseball before today but I will bet you are humble about your doubles power and bet you hold that record. Funny thing is CNN did this with Barry Obama and nothing turned out to be true about him.

It also reminded me, that I once had occasion to see Eric Young in what can only be described as an extremely weathered and perhaps even perpetually lived-in pair of sliding shorts.

Agreed–the wording for #2 leaves too much wiggle room. And if you were going to make up a lie, it would be more likely to be #3 than #1.

I’m going with number 3. I do not know anyone who knows who holds the record for the most doubles at their high school. I would venture to guess most high schools don’t even keep that stat.
