- Randy Wells looked better – I thought he would completely bomb out after allowing two home runs early in the game, but he settled in and not only kept the Marlins scoreless the rest of the way, but worked deep into the game, going eight innings. He command was back to normal, only allowing one walk and striking out eight. He said after his last start that he was angry at himself for his attitude of cockiness coming into the game and vowed to correct it. Last night he did just that. Does this outing restore your confidence in him, because his approval rating has dropped this week so far?
- Derrek Lee showed signs – Lee had a decent game at the plate and is showing some signs of coming out of the slump. Lou made lineup changes, moving Lee to the four hole (whoopdy freakin do) and sliding Byrd up to the third spot. It’s still not the drastic change of moving guys like Soto and Soriano into those spots, but I’ll take what I can get. It’s funny, a comment on the site yesterday read: “Joe, I am not sure that anybody cares, but there is an optimal line-up generator based on career OPS out there which suggests that this is the optimal line-up: Fukudome Byrd Lee Ramirez Soto Soriano Fontenot *Pitcher* Theriot I didn’t try it with Castro because of sample size. ~ JRH” As a matter of fact, I care. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure that generator is based on career numbers. If it isn’t then it’s seriously broken for putting Ramirez in the fourth spot in the order. My whole point is that I know Lee and Ramirez will hit and I know Sori and Soto will slow down from there they are now. The key is riding the wave while it’s happening and Lou’s not doing it. I blame him. If you keep doing what you’re doing, you’re going to keep getting what you’ve been getting, two freakin runs and a whole lotta losses.
- Starlin Castro – Another error for Castro in the field, giving him five in five games. I think he should in the Majors and I think he should be playing. I just feel like a worried mother when I see him make a mistake. I worry all the people in the stands are going to sour on the kid and boo him out of town. He’s young and I know he’s going to improve. I just keep seeing Ronny Cedeno flash into my head

I found this video on YouTube and was amazed and what this guy did to his small (under 400 sq ft) appartment to turn it into 24 different rooms. Unbelieveable.
