What would Dusty do with this lineup? There’s no way he could go “lefty righty lefty righty” with this cast of characters. Seriously though, I’m a bit dismayed with Hendry backloading his contracts, it makes it much harder to get rid of a guy if he’s not performing, I would rather have seen him pay the same amount each year. I saw Floyd Reese do that with the Tennessee Titans, then he’d cut them (e.g. Eddie George and Steve McNair) in the final year of their contract when the big money was due. Only difference is you can’t cut ’em in MLB, you have to pay them.

    Love the new look.

Did I somehow miss Carlos Silva’s name? We can’t be paying out monopoly money and not have him on the roster can we?

Joe, the submit comment button appears as a thin blue slit in the bottom of my comment box. Running IE8 on winXP.

Sorry. I was trying to forget we had him

MLB should be like the NFL and do away with guaranteed contracts. The Titans didn’t cut McNair, they traded him because he was mad they wouldn’t let him use the team facilities at all because they didn’t want him to get hurt. And I love Eddie George. 1995 Heisman winner. GO BUCKEYES!!

Won’t Lilly be on Injured Reserve?

I think it’s only for a month. But who will be the starter in place of him. We just need someone to hold down the fort until he gets back into a groove

I think it will depend where he’s at come opening day. Right now I’m being optimistic.
