In 1922 Rogers Hornsby and Ken Williams (who?) became the first team mates to each have 30 HR in a single season.

I just looked at Jim Edmonds career stats, if he had hit 2 more HR in 2002, and 1 more in 2005, he and Pujols would have had 5 consecutive 30 HR seasons as teammates from 2001-05

I think what he meant is that they aren’t with team they did it on, plus Manny and Thome are not mashers in the lineup back to back the way they were with the Tribe, or the way Papi and Manny were with the Sawks, or how the world’s fattest vegetarian is with Braun
