have to agree, how do you DFA Freel over AAron? Silly.
Easy... Miles is owed a lot more money, and is signed to a two year deal.

I wish both Freel and Miles the best of luck in their future endeavors wearing other team jerseys, both are good guys that got a chance and didn't get the job done. Miles doesn't deserve any more chances - when he comes off the DL he needs to go straight to DFA. Both Fuld and Fox are giving us reasons to keep them on the team, there's simply not enough room.

Curious indeed, With Aram coming back next week, NOW we get a third baseman? I know Baker was on the DL, so mot useful, but curious. Freel was never more than a way to get rid of the car jumper anyway, and I think he was low man on the totem pole. Blanco has too good a glove to part with easily, and fox it doing what was expected offensively, and BTE defensively. So, all things considered, a reasonable, but hopefully not important, move.
Oh, and thank goodness for spellcheckers. They make us all appear to be smarter than we really are.
