The first of the monthly installments of the confidence survey went great. We had almost 250 participants, which should help with the “sample size” issue. Here are the results and thanks for participating. Feel free to subscribe to this site in your reader or e-mail to make sure you know when next month’s survey is taking place. That said, the results:

Surprised Scales rated low. Pleased to see Theriot score high. Cub fans are among the most intelligent after all!
Some, why is Bradley listed so high? And why is Rich Hill listed as a position player?

Come on Doc, ! You must be a moron to think that the position player was Rich Hill. Are you stupid? Everone knows that Joe was looking for commenters opinion on ‘93-’94 outfielder and power hitter deluxe Glenallen Hill. He had an OPS if 1.157 in 31 games in 1994…that is a large enough sample size to know he was All-Star material before the Cubs let him get away in ‘95. Its all about the obscure stats here at VFTB. Thank christ they got him back in 2000, where I saw the single greatest moment of the steroid era, when he hit a ball onto the roof of Gracey’s apartment building. I feel that confidence in him should be much higher, even if he is 44 years old now. I say bring him back…can he play 3rd?

I thought it was Bobby Hill. Not the old second basemen…the son of Hank Hill from King of the Hill. Who could disapprove of that kid?
And wasn’t Bobby Hill the player to be named later in the Aramis Ramirez deal?
It is interesting and maybe not that far from the truth that most of the Back ups rate higher than the starters. Is it solely because the big money guys are not living up to their contracts, is it that everyone in town loves the Backup QB like is usually the case here in MadTown…who knows But I definatly see a more productive lineup with Hoffpuar at 1B and Bobby Hill or Glenallen Hill or Rich Hill catching…wait isn’t it Koye
I am kinda surprised that Fontenot is rated so high what has he done this year?
These confidence results are really interesting.
Only 58% of folks are confident that Marshall can fill his role adequately as a #5 starter? Really?
Only 45% are confident in Bradley?
Strange…
It’s the EA Sports GM mentality. Every starter should get at least 20 wins.
I love poll. Its great to see Gregg starting to get the job done. I would like to see if approval rating a little higher. I really like the Ryan Freel deal. He is an excellent bench player and utility guy. Now all we need to do is trade for DeRosa again. He is going to get traded, why not us?
