In their history, the Cubs have featured two players making their Major League debut for their country. Can you name either?
Hint # 1: One player made his debut in 1942 and the other in 1996
Hint # 2: One player was from Puerto Rico and the other from Singapore
Don’t forget to vote in the poll to the left of this post….please!!!

I would never have gotten either one. It does look like you have a typo in the question.
Shouldn’t it be “…and the other in 1996″?
I got Robin Jennings, just because I liked the guy when he came up, but the first one, I’d never know…
on a different note….I’m really hating D Lee on this team right now….when was the last time the guy had a clutch hit? He’s 100% a GIDP machine. Every time a guy gets on first, and he comes up, I just hold my breath. I still can’t believe Lou has him hitting three behind Theriot. Look, Theriot gets on at a pretty decent clip, and he mainly hits singles. Wouldn’t you rather have an RBI threat like ARAM or even Edmonds (when it’s a righty) hitting in the thre hole, and move Lee to 4th or 5th? I just think unfortunately, there’s going to be a critical situation later in the year where we desperately ned a run, and there’s less than two outs, and Lee comes up and does his GIDP thing…Dude sucks right now, and I honestly think he’s on the downside.
I think we need another option at first next year…just a thought
