Every person in the world has made on at some point. There is just a sense of freshness when a new year comes along. Here are some of mine.

1. I resolve to have more faith in Carlos Zambrano and not approach his starts with cynicism.

2. I resolve to budget my blogging time better, so as to be more efficient and thus allow for more content while still being able to spend more time with my family.

3. I resolve to not make predictions about what the team will do this year. (My team preview comes out in February as part of the Hardball Times preview, but I submitted it on the 30th, so it doesn’t break this resolution.)

4. I resolve to provide the readers with more information about things like contracts, minor league options, etc.

What are your New Year resolutions, Cub related or not?
