I’ll be honest with you. Not only did I fall asleep with the Cubs leading the game 9-6, but I woke up expecting to see that we had won. We’ve not gotten beat with our ace on the mound and with our number two on the mound. This all comes at the hands of a team below us in the standings. It’s unacceptable. Milwaukee lost again and now it’s suddenly looking like of our sorry teams are going to be watching the Cardinals in October. I’m sick of this garbage. It’s time to start winning and it needs to start now.

I’ll have more thoughts once I have some time to put them together in the game preview. For now, just let this picture offer you some fright for the morning:
