Yesterday I had the privilege of interviewing the Cubs play by play man, Len Kasper. He has taken a lot of heat in his first year from the fans for not being good. I have to say that I disagree with them. I have enjoyed Len and Bob from the beginning. They keep me entertained during the game, which is their primary role as TV guys. Sometimes I think that people miss that. They are not there to be your eyes, they are there to make the TV time fun. For me, they have done that.

The interview went smooth, except for the first 3 minutes or so when the tape recorder was not functioning properly. Here are the topics we discussed in the interview:

  • Len’s Background

  • Working with Bob
  • Getting used to Chicago
  • The Cubs Offseason
  • Miguel Tejada Rumors
  • Word Association

The interview is in MP3 format and is about 20 min long. Click the listen button and see what you think. And please let me know your feedback. I have an interview with Pat Hughes scheduled in January. Merry Christmas everyone.
