All the news the last few weeks has been about Mark Prior being injured. On Tuesday, Prior threw off the mound for the first time in more than 2 weeks. I hope that this is just the beginning of more good news to come. Hopefully he will come back full strength and we will be able to get this potentially miraculous season underway.

There are a lot of people that just feel that injuries are going to kill us this year. I don’t believe that. When you look at how far we got last year, it involved playing through injuries. Prior was out for 6 weeks, big Choi was out, Sosa was out, Patterson was out. These were all key players and we made it through. This year we’ve retooled and in my opinion we are better than last year. We’re gonna have injuries. Every team goes through them every year. I trust that this team can play through them and that Hendry will have the ability to get the personnel needed if we can’t. So Cubs fans, don’t let this Prior stuff worry you. We’ll be ok. Just brace yourself for a great and exciting year of baseball. If you would like to go watch it live, I have tickets to get rid of so e-mail me. If you would like to go through a broker instead, go to SHOWMETICKETS. They have not only sports tickets but concert tickets as well. Check em out.
