Where’s The Relief?

Written by , Posted in General

The Cubs came into the game Friday against the St. Louis Cardinals on a season best 6 game win streak. All the elements of the game looked as if the Cubs would extend that streak until the bullpen forgot to show up. Is help on the way? And if so…will it be another starter or a guy to give our bullpen some help? I’d take both.

Back To Baseball, My Friends

Bryant Has A Day; Knee Slapping In The Dugout; Maddon Delirious

Written by , Posted in General

Kris Bryant had himself a day as he single handedly took the Cubs to victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. With that, are the Cubs taking this season serious? Do they want to make trades or not? Maddon has his own type of thinking, which has been seen constantly, but maybe he is not helping the cause of why this season has gone so terribly wrong.

Just Kidding About Yesterday’s Title

On again, off again offense continues to hamper the Cubs as they continue to find that allusive winning streak that will separate them from the rest of the NL Central. Leaving runners on base will get this team no where and has been the same thing that has hampered them since the playoffs last year.
